# Aerosol properties gridded data from 1995 to present derived from satellite observations - Data issue

Users are made aware of the following data issue that led to the deprication of _Aerosol extinction coefficient_ data record_&nbsp;_derived from _GOMOS on ENVISAT,_ version_&nbsp;v5.00.&nbsp;_

It has been discovered that erroneous input data have been used randomly during the final phase of the production of this data record.  
This has lead to erroneous data values randomly spread in the data record.

A new and fixed version will be provided as soon as possible. _It is recommended to use v4.00 instead_.
