# Assistance Needed with ECMWF API Error

Hello,

I am facing an issue with the ECMWF API. When attempting to retrieve data; I receive the following error message: 🙃

Error 403: Forbidden - You do not have access to this resource.

I have verified that my API key is active and that my request parameters are correctly formatted. I have also ensured that my account has the necessary permissions for the requested data. Despite these checks; the error persists.

Could someone help me troubleshoot this issue? Are there any known issues or recent updates that might be affecting the API’s functionality?

Additionally; if there are specific API endpoints ; settings I should review, please let me know.
