Hello,
I’m new here and I’m facing problem with downloading ERA5-Land data. when I’m trying to download 2m temperature from 1980s, I can download none of them and it’s just repeating some error like this:
1980-01: HTTPSConnectionPool(host=‘cds-beta.climate.copernicus.eu’, port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /api/retrieve/v1/processes/reanalysis-era5-single-levels (Caused by SSLError(SSLCertVerificationError(1, ‘[SSL: CERTIFICATE\_VERIFY\_FAILED] certificate verify failed: self signed certificate (\_ssl.c:1122)’)))
1980-02: HTTPSConnectionPool(host=‘cds-beta.climate.copernicus.eu’, port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /api/retrieve/v1/processes/reanalysis-era5-single-levels (Caused by SSLError(SSLCertVerificationError(1, ‘[SSL: CERTIFICATE\_VERIFY\_FAILED] certificate verify failed: self signed certificate (\_ssl.c:1122)’)))

The cds-beta address is no longer in use, see

> Please be aware that as initially published in this topic, the cds-beta URL was planned to be discontinued and users were advised to update the URL in their .cdsapirc file by 20th October 2024. We can confirm that the cds-beta URL is now discontinued. And this explains why some users are getting some SSL: CERTIFICATE\_VERIFY\_FAILED errors. If you have not already done so, please update the URL in your .cdsapirc file as shown below: url: [https://cds.climate.copernicus.eu/api](https://cds.climate.copernicus.eu/api) key: xx-xx-xx-xx-x…
