❗ Effective immediately, all forecasts will be evaluated against [**initial ECMWF Reanalysis version 5 (ERA5) release data (ERA5T)**](https://climate.copernicus.eu/climate-reanalysis) ❗

This change is necessary due to restricted access to MSWEP data for commercial entities.

**Post-processed precipitation training data and precipitation-based evaluation datasets, including recent rainfall totals and historical quintile boundaries, are now exclusively derived from ERA5 or ERA5T.** These updated datasets are available via the AI Weather Quest Python Package.
