# Historic Temperatures in Belgium and Luxembourg

I am trying to access data on daily ground temperatures in the Ardennes Region of Belgium and Luxembourg in sub-region 53 North, 48 South, 0 West and 20 East for period 16 December 1944 to 16 January 1945. Can you please help guide me on how to source this?

Hi Charlie, you can try downloading ERA5 data [via the CDS](https://cds-beta.climate.copernicus.eu/datasets/reanalysis-era5-single-levels?tab=download), or even easier: [Open-Meteo](https://open-meteo.com/en/docs/historical-weather-api). For observations, I don’t know, it doesn’t seem RMI have them available [RMI - Belgium](https://www.meteo.be/en/weather/observations/belgium)…
