# New CDS Beta Service: Access to our ARCO Data Lake

We are pleased to announce the expansion of our product offerings based on ARCO (Analysis Ready Cloud Optimized) capabilities, which include **direct tokenized access to data cubes**.

Climate Data Store (CDS) datasets with direct tokenized access to data cubes will have a new **“Analysis ready data” tab** (alongside the existing Overview, Download, Documentation and Quality tabs) with instructions including code snippet showing how to open a Zarr store using xarray.

Please be aware that direct tokenized access to data cubes is a **Beta service** which is to be closely monitored. The Data Store Service administrator **reserves the right to take the necessary actions at any moment, including closing the service** to maintain the overall performance of the Data Store Service.

**Due to the anticipated high demand and workload in the hosting infrastructure triggered by this new access mechanism, datasets will be gradually opened to the public**.
