We are pleased to announce that a new dataset has been published in the Climate Data Store (CDS): [ORAS5 global ocean reanalysis monthly data from 1958 to present](https://cds.climate.copernicus.eu/cdsapp#!/dataset/reanalysis-oras5?tab=overview) It provides global ocean and sea-ice reanalysis monthly mean data prepared by the ECMWF ocean analysis-reanalysis system OCEAN5. The data are available in two modes: - a consolidated product for the period from 1958 to 2014 - an operational product for the period from 2015 onwards with monthly near real-time updates For any enquiries regarding this dataset, please [contact us](https://climate.copernicus.eu/help-and-support). can we consider ORAS5 both consolidated and operational data products for the analysis from 1958-2018?
