# New features implemented for CORDEX regional climate model data on single levels on the CDS

We are pleased to announce that an **improvement** to the CORDEX regional climate model data on single levels dataset catalogue entry on the Climate Data Store (CDS) has been implemented today, 9th July 2026, **to add spatial (geographical area) and temporal (year and month) sub-selections**.

**API Users:** Please be aware that with the addition of the temporal sub-selection, requests using **start year** and **end year** keywords are no longer compatible with this dataset. Please refer to the [CORDEX Download form](https://cds.climate.copernicus.eu/datasets/projections-cordex-domains-single-levels?tab=download) to update your script with the **new keywords**  **year** and **month**.
