I am looking into editing the stl1 and ci values in the ICMCLhif1INIT files.

When I split and remerge the file with eccodes like the following:

grib\_copy ICMCLhif1INIT '[shortName]\_out'

grib\_copy -B "dataDate asc" \*\_out ICMCLhif1INIT\_edit

I obtain a file which is identical according to grib\_compare -rf ICMCLhif1INIT\_edit ICMCLhif1INIT, but when I input it into OpenIFS, I obtain an error that an unexpected key is encountered.

Does anyone have any insight or experience?

Thank you in advance
