As part of an ongoing study on the impacts of climate change on water resources and flood forecasting in Türkiye, I have been analyzing discharge datasets obtained from EFAS (European Flood Awareness System) and GloFAS (Global Flood Awareness System). During the quality control process, a systematic spatial bias was identified in the data starting from August 7, 2019. Specifically, the grid cells exhibit a northward displacement of 10.08709° and an eastward displacement of 0.13794°. It is important to note that when datasets are acquired through automated loops, this georeferencing shift may not be immediately apparent, potentially compromising the integrity of downstream hydrological analyses.

@Ersat_Unal Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

The matter has been assigned to our analysts and is currently being investigated through the ticket that you raised in our [support portal](https://confluence.ecmwf.int/site/support).

They are actively working on it and will get back to you with an update in due course!

Kind regards,

Karen, CEMS Flood Support
