# Upcoming ADS Terms of use change

Please be informed that **on Wednesday 28th October 2026** , the [Terms of use of the Copernicus Atmosphere Data Store](https://ads.atmosphere.copernicus.eu/disclaimer-privacy) will be modified with an update to Art(1) as follows:

**Article (1) - Description of Products and Services**  
The ADS contains geophysical and other information and data sets (“Products”) and applications for users (“Services”), jointly referred to as “Content”. Individual Services may have their own additional terms of use applicable to them.

Usage of any Copernicus Products and Services through the ADS after the above date will be considered as your acceptance of the updated Terms of use of the Copernicus Atmosphere Data Store.

Should you choose not to accept the proposed change, you will no longer be able to access the Copernicus Products from midnight of 27 October 2026. In this case, please [let us know](https://jira.ecmwf.int/plugins/servlet/desk/portal/1/create/202)(ECMWF login required) before 27th October 2026.
