Today, I tried to download PECD data from CDS via API. At first it worked, but then it stopped working, I was getting the error message ‘500 Internal Server Error’. After a while, I found why: for some technologies there are no subtechnologies to select and if you use an empty list it doesn’t work but the error message does not give a hint for this. please adjust the error messages to enable easier error identification. The ‘500 Internal Server Error’ is very general and should rather point to errors connected with server connection or overload.
