A question of ERA5-Land Total precipitation data

Dear all ,

          When I used ERA5-Land Total precipitation hourly data to get a daily total precipitation data ,I found that it is necessary to accumulate 24 steps of hourly total precipitation data to get daily total precipitation , before 2011.

After 2012, the total precipitation  data in 00:00UTC of one day can represent the daily total precipitation of the previous day.

          Is this normal ? My research area is southwest of China.
