On 10th July 2020, we announced that an error was detected in the Fire ESA-CCI MODIS version 5.1 November 2019 files, due to an incomplete active fires input file used for the processing of the burned area. As a result of this, access to the Fire burned area data (all versions) was disabled.
We are pleased to report that the dataset has been reprocessed and is now available to download from the Climate Data Store as version 5.1.1cds:

Version 5.1.1cds replaces version 5.1cds, which has been deprecated.
