To the attention of users of AgERA5 version 1.1:
AgERA5 version 1.1 is superseded by AgERA5 version 2, published in May 2025, which was fully reprocessed and fixes the Rogue Tmin-24h values as well as the Tmean > Tmax issue found in v1.1 (please refer to AgERA5 documentation for details).
There is no justification to keep AgERA5 version 1.1 going any longer longer since it contains unresolved issued. Therefore, we have planned to stop updating AgERA5 v1.1 on 17th June 2026 and subsequently deprecate it (deprecation date to be confirmed in this Forum topic in due time).
AgERA5 version 2 data meanwhile continues to be updated on a daily basis.
