On reading the AIFS ENS CRPS paper it seems as if the figures use N320 data [0 and 12z] from 2024 Feb 1st onwards. Will this data be made available as well as the planned backhistory from Dec 2024 stated in the release notes?

AIFS ENS (CRPS) data is available from Dec 2024 in ECMWF MARS archive (under expver=103).
The reason it is available from Dec 2024 is because it uses IFS ENS analysis as initial conditions and we have updated the IFS model mid November 2024.
So for consistency we chose to run AIFS ENS after the newest version of IFS was available.

Thank you for the prompt response. We still find older model versions of the IFS useful for skill assessment, and the same would be true of AIFS run off these older initial conditions (especially as AIFS has no hindcast). So maybe there is a way we could access the data used for the CRPS paper? Or alternatively, do you know if there is a plan to release AIFS ENS model weights and inference code?

We are planning to release the AIFS ENS model on Hugging face in the coming weeks.
For the older dates and data from the CRPS paper, I need to ask around. Not all our research data is publicly available, and I am not sure about this data.
