AI Weather Quest participants are warmly encouraged to submit an abstract to the Third International Conference on Subseasonal to Seasonal to Decadal Prediction (S2S2D), taking place 7–11 September 2026 in Reading (UK). The S2S2D conference brings together researchers, operational centres, and users working across subseasonal to decadal timescales, with a strong focus on both scientific advances and applications.
In particular, we invite Quest teams to contribute to the session “Machine Learning Methods in S2S/S2D.” When submitting, please clearly indicate in your abstract that the work is linked to participation in the AI Weather Quest.

Depending on the number of abstracts submitted by Quest participants, an AI Weather Quest networking moment at the margins of the conference is currently being explored.
We strongly encourage Quest participants to take this opportunity to showcase their work and connect with the wider community, as well as with fellow AI Weather Quest participants and organisers.
