The Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) is holding a webinar for existing and potential policy users on Tuesday 29 June 2021. This is the 5th in a series of CAMS Policy User Workshops (PUW), this time organised in co-operation with the FAIRMODE network chaired by the Joint Research Centre (JRC).
The webinar is structured in two interactive sessions:
- Session 1: Tuesday, 29 June 2021 - 10:00 – 12:30 CEST – Updates on CAMS and training on the ACT tool
- Session 2: Tuesday, 29 June 2021 - 14:00 – 16:00 CEST – Training and Use of Source Allocation tools in CAMS
This CAMS policy user webinar provides a unique opportunity to interact with the environmental community and discuss future options for a responsible use of CAMS products in the implementation of Clean Air policies. The growing experience in the use of the CAMS policy products and tools enables an informed discussion on the advantages and limitations of these products at national, regional, and urban level. During the 5th CAMS Policy User Workshop, participants will be invited to reflect and learn more on the capabilities and uses of the CAMS air control tool (ACT) and the source receptor products and to provide recommendations to stimulate participatory activities and increase the uptake of CAMS policy products and tools by the policy user community at national level.
The agenda of the workshop can be found here. To join the webinar, please register before 28th June 18:00 EOB and the link will be sent to you.
