The Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) is to organize its 9th Policy User Workshop (PUW) on Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th March 2026 in Budapest, Hungary.
The meeting is to be hosted by HungaroMet and logistical information is already available. The 9th CAMS PUW is organized back-to-back with the 2026 FAIRMODE plenary meeting organized by the Joint Research Center and scheduled for 3rd and 4th March 2026.
The main purpose of this workshop is to inform and gather perspectives on the new service elements of relevance for the implementation of the revised Ambient Air Quality Directive (AAQD).
During the workshop, you will hear the latest updates on the CAMS service and learn more about the use of CAMS products to support reporting under AAQDs especially concerning transboundary contributions and the identification of natural sources to pollution episode.
The workshop is structured in three interactive sessions, where your input will be most appreciated:
- Session 1 – The new prototypes for natural sources and ozone in CAMS
- Session 2 – Joint CAMS-FAIRMODE session on source allocation products
- Session 3 – CAMS products with policy relevance and how to use them
