We would like to inform you that the CAMS European air quality validated reanalysis 2018 data, published in September 2021 in the Atmosphere Data Store (ADS) was found to have issues and should not be used.
It has been found that around 10% of the monthly 2018 validated reanalysis files have missing timesteps. A list of the affected files is attached below:
These data have therefore been deprecated, and are no longer searchable in the ADS. However, the catalogue entry, which has been labeled as "Deprecated", will remain accessible for reference purposes only for about 1 year. After this period it will be removed from the ADS. The deprecated data are available from: https://ads.atmosphere.copernicus.eu/cdsapp#!/dataset/cams-europe-air-quality-reanalyses-deprecated
Please note that while the deprecated CAMS European air quality reanalysis API ('cams-europe-air-quality-reanalyses-deprecated') will continue to work until the dataset is removed from the ADS, no support will be provided to users of the deprecated CAMS European air quality reanalysis data from the ADS.
Users are therefore advised to download the updated CAMS European air quality validated reanalysis 2018 data, which are now available from the ADS at: https://ads.atmosphere.copernicus.eu/cdsapp#!/dataset/cams-europe-air-quality-reanalyses?tab=overview
In addition, the CAMS European air quality 2019 validated reanalysis data are now ready for users to download either interactively using the ADS web interface (download form) or programmatically using the API service.
