CARRA2/CARRA data confusion total precipitation

Hello, Please urgently help me anyone:

  1. CARRA data which all forecast and time hours i need to download in order to convert to the daily data total precipitation.
  2. Copernicus also provide daily calculated total precipitation but it has a lead time of 6 hrs in the time variable.
Also is there any way quick to download the data other then the API request one. I wish there was an FTP server from where you can download everything in one go.

Dear Jayne,

Thanks for your questions, hereafter see some information and hints.

In general you can find information how to compute precipitation amount from the CARRA dataset at The use of precipitation information from the Copernicus Arctic Regional Reanalysis (CARRA) - Copernicus Knowledge Base - ECMWF Confluence Wiki

We have also daily/monthly data, which already makes the computation for you and provides daily/monthly precipitation amounts.

For CARRA1 (two European Arctic domain): Arctic regional reanalysis daily and monthly data from 1991 to present

For CARRA2 (pan-Arctic, i.e. full Arctic coverage): pan-Arctic regional reanalysis daily and monthly data from 1986 to present

I hope it helps, thank you, best regards

Thank you so much. Really thank you. I was not sure whether i was doing it right or not. Actually I wanted daily only but the issue is that the one uploaded for CARRA1 and CARRA2 is with 6hrs UTC time ahead. I wanted 0 UTC time. So am I correct I need to download hourly as explained on wiki page and then get it.
