Hi Michaela - thanks for this. I tend to access data using the api from both the CDS and EWDS. Is there a way to have a .cdsapirc file that allows simultaneous access to the CDS / EWDS data files or do I have to change my .cdsapirc file accordingly whenever downloading from either CDS or EWDS? Thanks !
Hi,
please have a look at code in point 2 of this section in the CDS documentation: Climate Data Store (CDS) documentation - Copernicus Knowledge Base - ECMWF Confluence Wiki
Thanks
Is this issue (the OP) still active? The last couple of days Iāve been trying to download ERA5 data. Sporadically it works, with a requested dataset taking only a few minutes to download; but most of the time it is stalled for hours on end (for the same size dataset). Iām using the API via R package ecmwfr (the CDS app/client is not an option for me in this case). Last week it was working fine while I was testing my script. Iāve checked the status page, but I canāt tell whether anything there is relevant. Thanks!
Iām having the same issue trying to download CAMS EGG4 data through cdsapi in Python. It stalled in the ārunningā state for hours until it eventually got disconnected. I submitted the same request through the web form 45 minutes ago, and the status is still āin progressā. A similar but larger request completed in minutes last week.
