Update Nov. 20, 2023: All Climate Data Store systems are fully operational again following the power outage of last Thursday.
Following a major power outage yesterday, Thursday 16th November 2023, our Data Centre in Bologna went completely offline. While most systems are back up and running, access to some services remains degraded at this time.
For the Climate Data Store (CDS) this means that some requests may fail or take longer than usual to complete - in particular for requests to download data stored in the ECMWF MARS archive (for the list of affected datasets, please refer to dataset hosted on 'MARS external' from the CDS Documentation).
Our engineers and analysts are actively working to have all systems fully operational as soon as possible. You may also monitor the status of all ECMWF systems (including CDS/ADS) at https://www.ecmwf.int/en/service-status
