Difference between S2S data sources, how the weekly forecast is different if the S2S is only one monthly run

Is the CDS data source[1] is alternative to the real time S2S real-time dataset[2]

Also, if the S2S is only one month run, how it can be used for the post processing purpose to do weekly submission.
Is it the post processing bias correction is making the difference in the weekly forecast, for example in the case of LP, March month, weekly forecasts are different.

You can follow the selections in the first screenshot and click ‘View data retrieval request’ at the bottom. This will take you to the second view, where the ‘date’ field shows the available initialization dates. Note that for ECMWF, forecasts are run every day, not just once a month.

Thank you, much appreciated, now noticed in S2S real time dataset page, which I missed earlier, there is daily data availability.
