Downscaled bioclimatic indicators "no longer supported" –what now?

Products of downscaled bioclimatic indicators for selected regions are “no longer supported by data providers” as of 29 Jan 2025. This came as a bit of a surprise to us.

What does this mean in practice?

Will there be new products to replace the unsupported ones, or should we look for similar products from other data providers?
Can we still use these products for the time being or should we start looking for alternatives immediately?
And we wonder, when was the decision made to stop supporting these datasets? We decided to use these datasets for our project last autumn and were not aware of any plans to withdraw support at that time.

Hi Otto_Hyvaerinen,
From time to time, we retire products. When “no longer supported” is mentioned, you can still download and use the data with respect to the licence attached. However, we will no longer provide any support to such datasets. You can look for questions from relevant documents. You can also raise questions here and others may help.
The reason datasets are retired can be due to limited resources available to maintain them.
