I found that AIFS data has no data since 2025-02-24 06 UTC. Will it stop updating in the future

As shared by Daniel Lassahn (with thanks), ECMWF has implemented the latest version of the AIFS operationally today!
Due to the implementation, the operational data (from the old AIFS model) was not produced between yesterday’s 06Z data and today’s 06Z. We only have the experimental test data from the new model.
Unfortunately, we are also not able to reproduce yesterday’s operational data.
We apologise for this inconvenience and hope that you’ve found the new AIFS-single-v1 data. More details of the implementation can be found here.

AIFS and AIFS ENS has had a consistent problem with spinning up TCs that either don’t develop or are too aggressively modeled. For example, AIFS ENS had a tropical wave that consistently developed in the western Atlantic on the 28th of July but never developed in the analysis. This has stirred up a lot of controversy amongst the public along poor trust in what to believe in as far as tropical cyclone genesis is concerned. Curious as to why this wasn’t investigated or at least addressed prior to operations.
