I am downloading CARRA/West variables to use for off-line SURFEX runs.
One of the variables I need is ‘Time integral of total solid precipitation flux’
I noticed that in many years there is data missing for a day or two, or part of a day.
(see example list below)
As an example for the time stamp
“2019-07-21 06:00:00”
there are 51 hours until the next data is available
@ timestamp “2019-07-23 09:00:00”
This means that there does not seem to be data for any IT time from 2019-07-21 and 2019-07-22
I pick these things up via the API, but upon examining the webform
(Arctic regional reanalysis on single levels from 1991 to present )
I noticed that the missing days are “gray-ed out” so they cannot be selected
over the web. So the system is aware that there are gaps.
Is there an accessible list of missing CARRA/west data that the web-form is looking up ?
Are these files permanently missing?
I have have checked and saw that for the days in question there was data from CARRA East.
