Most recent ERA5T data now also available through ECMWF Dissemination

We are pleased to announce that the most recent ERA5T data (with 5 days delay from the current date) are also available through ECMWF Dissemination from 8 September 2026 for a service charge.
In this way, you can select the most recent ERA5T products you need (with a 5 day embargo) and they will be automatically delivered to you!

You can browse, order and configure the ERA5T products through the ECMWF Product Requirements Catalogue (PRC).
After placing your order, ECMWF will act as service provider and will contact you with a price quotation, discuss your needs to refine your data requirements and help optimise your request to save you time and money, and to ensure you get the most appropriate products.

ECMWF offers a number of optional services for the delivery of the data depending on the service package. For details please see here.

If applicable, users can also change their data order, ERA5T data can be added via the Product Requirements Editor (PREd).

On 8 September, we announced the release of the most recent ERA5T data (with 5 days delay from the current date) through the ECMWF Product Requirements Catalogue.

Why take ERA5T through dissemination? If you currently download ERA5T from the Climate Data Store, having it delivered brings a few practical advantages:

  • It arrives on a schedule. Products are pushed to you as they are produced, so there is nothing to poll and nothing to queue for.
  • You receive only what you need. You can define the parameters, levels, steps and geographical area you want, and we deliver that subset — rather than downloading a larger file and cutting it up yourself.

After placing your order, ECMWF will contact you via our Support Portal to discuss your needs, refine your data requirements if needed, and ensure you receive the most appropriate products.
