We are pleased to announce that a new dataset has been published in the Climate Data Store (CDS): ORAS5 global ocean reanalysis monthly data from 1958 to present
It provides global ocean and sea-ice reanalysis monthly mean data prepared by the ECMWF ocean analysis-reanalysis system OCEAN5.
The data are available in two modes:
- a consolidated product for the period from 1958 to 2014
- an operational product for the period from 2015 onwards with monthly near real-time updates
