ECMWF is holding its 9th General Assembly of the Copernicus Climate Change Service between 3-5 June in Budapest, Hungary, in collaboration with HungaroMet, the Hungarian Meteorological Service.
The General Assembly aims to foster an open and interactive environment in which users, service providers, and partners jointly shape the future direction of C3S.
Discussion will focus on three overarching thematic areas:
- Advancing authoritative climate knowledge
- Enabling effective use through methods, tools and capacity
- Strengthening the link between climate information, decisions and impact
Through interactive exchanges, participants will contribute practical insights and concrete recommendations that will directly inform the design and strategic planning of C3S Phase 3. The overall objective is to ensure that C3S remains user-driven, impactful, and fully aligned with real-world decision-making needs.
Registration is free and open to anyone interested in attending. Priority for on-site participation will be given to C3S service providers and users. Please note that this event is primarily a face-to-face event, online participation will be limited to livestreaming of the plenary sessions…
