I’m downloading ERA5-land data and have found that today and yesterday it is not working at all. Is this the same for everyone?

It’s a shame that the only folks commenting are end users - it would be nice if an ECMWF Staff member could give some insight/progress/expectations.

My requests have also been failing since yesterday evening (26 November):
CDS API Recovering from connection error [(‘Connection aborted.’, RemoteDisconnected(‘Remote end closed connection without response’))], attemps (sic!) 1 of 500
It would be really great if ECMWF could be a bit more transparent about the causes and possible duration of this problem.
Agreed - the usual response is “look at the Status Page”
I can’t be the only one that finds that page pretty unhelpful - it tells us things aren’t working or are degraded, but we already know that.
A simple comment from ECMWF here along the lines of “Sorry, services should be back up by…” would be great.
Same here… API is not available
CDS, ADS and EWDS down until further notice we have a statement now from ECMFW staff saying the data stores are down. No indication of when they’ll be back but good to know a little more!
