Help, so when I see the latitude and longitude of the CARRA data variable it is curvilinear. Do I need to reproject or regrid the data? (I think it is regridding). If anyone has converted the latitude, longitude and variable please can you let me know how you did it in 1D space. Please help! Especially in matlab but other options are also okay.

Thank you so much but i think it is not subsetting as I already did it when i downloaded the data. I am looking for something very basic if you have curvilinear grid does the regridding to normal lat and lon rectangular influence your outcome. if so what is the correct way to do so?
The method did return values on a lat lon grid with the specified grid spacing.
Yes it does return the value but I do not know when I compare with station data CARRA2 performance is poorer than CARRA. Which I think is incorrect. Because it is showing similar poor performance across all stations.
