Dear ECMWF/CDS Support Team,
I am using the CDS API to download ERA5 hourly single-level reanalysis data for a research project.
My API requests now return the following error:
User is disabled
Error id: ba7f6aaf-5dd0-4a70-ab73-e487f303a74c
403 Client Error: Forbidden
User is disabled. Please contact the administrator.
I believe my account was flagged because I was running a Python script that downloaded monthly ERA5 data with 11 variables per request and up to two concurrent monthly requests.
I have stopped the automated downloads and will adjust the script to submit requests strictly sequentially and comply with the CDS service limits.
Could you please review my account status and advise whether my CDS access can be reactivated?
I would also appreciate any guidance on the applicable request limits and recommended download practices.
