It’s summer, and nobody wants to be melting in the office just to publish a data request. You can now schedule it instead.
The Product Requirements Editor (PREd) has a new Schedule publication feature. When you use the “Publish changes” option, you can now toggle Schedule for later, pick a date and time from the calendar, and the system will publish your changes for you at that moment.
A few things worth knowing:
- Once confirmed, your requests appear under “Publication requests” or “Scheduled publication”, depending on the type of request you sent.
- Publishing is not the same as delivery. Published changes take effect from the next applicable run, check the pick-up times table to see which run your change will apply to.
