We are pleased to announce that a new Sea Ice thickness Level-4 product is now available on the Climate Data Store (CDS). This new daily and gap-filled product is based on a combination of altimetry measurements from CryoSat-2 and radiometry measurements from SMOS. The new data has been added to the existing monthly Level-3 data entry:
Sea ice thickness gridded data for the Arctic derived from satellite observations
Please be aware that this addition required a change to the CDS dataset download form. Users will need to manually update their existing CDS API requests to accommodate this change. Please see the CDS dataset download form to check that your CDS API script is correct.
