The details of the tide system and the reference ellipsoid of Sea level daily gridded data from satellite altimetry for the global ocean from 1993 to present dataset are:
- The tide model is FES2014
- The Reference Ellipsoid is the first-order definition of the non-spherical shape of the Earth as an ellipsoid of revolution with equatorial radius of 6378.1363 kilometres and a flattening coefficient of 1/298.257 (same reference ellipsoid as used by the Jason-1/2 and the T/P missions).
