Sea level daily gridded data from satellite altimetry for the global ocean tide system and reference ellipsoid

The details of the tide system and the reference ellipsoid of Sea level daily gridded data from satellite altimetry for the global ocean from 1993 to present dataset are:

  • The tide model is FES2014
  • The Reference Ellipsoid is the first-order definition of the non-spherical shape of the Earth as an ellipsoid of revolution with equatorial radius of 6378.1363 kilometres and a flattening coefficient of 1/298.257 (same reference ellipsoid as used by the Jason-1/2 and the T/P missions).
