Spatial Shiftment in the River discharge and related forecasted data by the European Flood Awareness System

As part of an ongoing study on the impacts of climate change on water resources and flood forecasting in Türkiye, I have been analyzing discharge datasets obtained from EFAS (European Flood Awareness System) and GloFAS (Global Flood Awareness System). During the quality control process, a systematic spatial bias was identified in the data starting from August 7, 2019. Specifically, the grid cells exhibit a northward displacement of 10.08709° and an eastward displacement of 0.13794°. It is important to note that when datasets are acquired through automated loops, this georeferencing shift may not be immediately apparent, potentially compromising the integrity of downstream hydrological analyses.

@Ersat_Unal Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
