I downloaded post-processed daily data of the mean gravity wave surface stress terms (eastward and northward components, N/m2) for the summer months. When plotted, the JJAS mean value over the Tibetan Plateau region was very small compared to my other model output. Is there a scaling factor for these terms? My model output is also the daily average values and is in same unit of N/m2.
