The AI Weather Quest is off to a strong start!
In the very first week of the Competition Phase, 28 teams with 48 models have already joined the Quest!
You can now explore the current list of participating teams on the newly published Teams page.
All submitted forecasts are also made accessible for everyone to explore through the AI/ML sub-seasonal forecasts portal, providing a great opportunity to visualise and compare the outputs of AI/ML models in real time. To learn more about how the portal works, access the portal’s guide.
The first leaderboards will be released on 19 September, following the completion of the initial forecast windows.
It is not too late to take part: new teams are welcome to join the competition at any time throughout the year.
