Total precipitation data values

Good day, I would like to know something. The ERA5 total precipitation data is provided in meters, for example, 0.000012 meters. However, if I convert it to millimeters, which is the standard unit for measuring precipitation, it would be 0.012 millimeters. Am I correct, or do you know how to properly handle the GRIB raster provided by the website? I want to work with precipitation data, but I have some doubts about these values and their conversions.

Thank you.

I suppose you are right. However, just remember that ERA5 is a kind of interpolation model and 0.012 mm is actually 0. I would advise you to pay attention to effective precipitation only (>1mm). However, it’s just my opinion.
Do you work with hourly data in ERA5Land?
