The new seasonal forecast system from JMA (CPS4) is now ready to be integrated into the C3S multi-system starting with real-time forecasts from April 2026.
Hindcast data from this new system for the period 1993-2020 will be published soon in the CDS starting with the start dates corresponding to the “nominal” April month (YYYY0312 and YYYY0327). The up-to-date list of available hindcast dates can be checked in the “Hindcasts” table of the “Summary of available data” page.
