In ERA5, the land-sea mask for Antarctica is defined by the RAMP-2 dataset, which was specified for 1 Jan 1940 to 1 Jan 1999. Therefore, it will not represent the Larsen B change in 2002.
Please note that the Larsen A change in 1995 may not be visible on the ERA5 grid due to the larger size of the ERA5 grid.
