Hello,
I am using a GFAS emissions data set for 2021 and noticed that in some instances offire (Wildfire fraction of area observed) values were larger than 1.
Am I correct in saying that offire is the fraction of the grid cell burned? If so, why are there values of offire larger than 1?
I see this question has been asked previously but there hasn’t been any responses - any help would be greatly appreciated.
